This is circa 1960s and is signed “JEANNE” A beautifully textured gold tone with cut outs of four navette glass cabochons (green, red, brown, and blue). This is a large piece and in excellent vintage condition. This measures 2 3/4" in diameter.


“JEANNE” was founded by  American jeweler Mark Dottenheim. The brand (named in honor of his mother) of brooches, pins, earrings, and pendants- were carefully executed and used high quality materials. (Like: metal alloy with gold plating, enamel, rhinestones, faux pearls, and crystals.)

Mark Dottenheim died on January 14, 1960 in New York. Unfortunately, the company ceased to exist after the death of its founder.
